When designing and constructing industrial floors, several factors must be taken into account. The most important consideration is the client’s requirement, which indicates whether a resin coating or a final surface is needed. It is not recommended to use surface hardeners on resin floors, as the hardened layer may delaminate.
For sub-floor coverings, surface hardening is also unnecessary, but it may be advantageous for strengthening final surfaces. There are several types of industrial floors:
Proper bedding construction is essential during execution. Placing two layers of foil, which functions as a floating layer, is crucial for preventing shrinkage and expansion. The bedding must be smooth and uniform to ensure the floor can be properly loaded, avoiding the formation of cracks.
These considerations contribute to the creation of durable and functional industrial floors.
